okay, so what is this all about you ask? well, the idea behind 'the equilibrium' is to be a catalyst of sorts. it is my aim to bring about ideas, open people's eyes - the usual pretentious bollocks. the page is also meant to be some kind of showcase, a way of telling the world "heya! look at me! this is who I am...". I mean, what else are personal homepages for, really?
also, the page is currently only optimized for internet explorer. it has come to my knowledge that parts of the layout might not work as intended with other browsers (mainly netscape), but
that's just life. I might do something about that in the near future, but not now.

this is the first installment of 'the equilibrium', hopefully there will be more to follow. you might have been one of the visitors to "the book of deadlok", and if so, you may or may not recognize yourself around here, this is at any rate a continuation of that very same site. as a matter of fact, "the book of deadlok" is still around, but in a different form.
this here page you're on has been brewing in my mind for quite some time now, more or less two years. it has undergone a few name changes and even more changes in general layout and design. I do have some naive hope that I will be more active this time around, but I will not make any promises. but do come back now and then, and I'll let you know how things go. if I sense that the updates happen too slow I'll post some kind of warning here, sounds like a fair deal?

this is where you are now (obviously?), and this part of 'the equilibrium' contains some general information, such as what's going on in past/present/future, how you can find your way around the site and so on and so forth.
writings:
this is where I will collect my writings, it is also the main 'core' of the site if you will. it mainly consists of 'books', currently "the book of deadlok" and "the book of gaia". these books are works in progress, more or less, eventhough the changes/updates what have you, may be very far apart. apart from the books, I might write some minor reflections, attempts at poetry and such here. the general idea is that this is supposed to be the most frequently updated part of the page (as if that would ever happen).
ego:
this section will revolve a bit closer around me and my person (and the rest of the page, of course, has nothing at all to do with me), and it will contain information about who I am (obviously). apart from that, who knows. I might throw in some odd bits that don't fit in anywhere else. oh! I almost forgot. this is where you find the guestbook!
albumlist:
this section could probably fit in under 'ego', but since it will be somewhat big, I chose to give it a section of it's own. no big surprises here, the name pretty much says it all - it is my albumlist. if you find something you find interesting in it, and if you have something which you think I would be interested in, feel free to contact me to ... uhm ... compare lists or something? mp3 trading is, of course, illegal, so I would neeeeeever do anything of the sort ^_^. if anyone is curious, I usually have access to a 10mbit connection.

this is another of those quite obvious sections. I place links here. to pages that I like. if you want, you can drop me a line and give me tips of pages to add, but I cannot promise I will do anything about it. I'm no stranger to link exchanges.
